Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The subject aims at an unification of entry levels of students' language knowledge to the minimum level B1 (and higher) that is determined by the Common European Reference Frame for Languages. Students targeted and gradually prepared to manage professional and expert languages in later terms of their study.

Exam conditions
To write two tests - a mid-term test and a final test - and present one oral presentation. Test 1 is written in the first half of the semester, test 2 at the end of the semester. The oral presentation is held in accordance with the schedule set by the teacher of the course. The score corresponds to the percentage ratio of assessment methods (oral speech maximum of 20 points, test 1 maximum of 40 points and test 2 maximum of 40 points, maximum of all three parts 100 points). For the successful completion of the course, the students have to achieve at least 70%, or 70 points from all parts.
