Cíle předmětu opírající se o výstupy z učení
The student will learn to use managerial tools in the preparation and implementation of various types of innovations, which are the main source for increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of the company. The graduate of the subject will understand the issue of innovative corporate strategies and the importance of intellectual property protection, the issue of implementation and commercialization of the findings of scientific research and innovation activities.

Upon graduation of the course, students will be able to:
1. understand the role of scientific research and development activities in a company,
2. understand the role of knowledge capital of an enterprise,
3. develop criteria for evaluating innovation projects,
4. manage scientific research and development activities in an operational managerial manner; understand the nature of strategic innovation decision making,
5. understand the basic tools for securing and protecting intellectual property.

Podmínky testu
To successfully complete the course, it is necessary to achieve a total of at least 70% of the interim and final evaluation under the conditions set out below. In the continuous evaluation, 30 points can be obtained, i.e. 30%. A total of 70 points, i.e. 70%, can be obtained in the final evaluation. Overall classification of the course, ie points for the final evaluation (70 - 0) + points from the continuous evaluation (30 - 0): A 100 - 90, B 89,99 - 84, C 83,99 - 77, D 76,99 - 73, E 72.99 - 70, FX 69.99 - 30, F 29.99 - 0. The full-time student is obliged to meet the mandatory 70% attendance at contact classes, i.e. everything except lectures. If the participation is not met, the student will be automatically classified "F".

Attendance at classes in all forms is solved by a separate internal standard of VŠTE (Records of student attendance at VŠTE). For full-time students, 70% attendance at seminars is mandatory. Students with an individual study plan (ISP) will take only a 100-point final test in the examination period from the subject Innovation Management. Students are obliged to contact the teacher of the subject Innovation Management (email: vanickova@mail.vstecb.cz) immediately after the approval of the individual study plan (ISP). If the student does not do so, his ISP will not be taken into account.
