- The aim of the course is the complemention of mathematical knowledge to the required level needed for MAT_1 course.
- Learning outcomes
- After the successful completion of the course, the student is able to modify algebraic expressions, working with compound fractions and exponential expressions. The student will be able to solve equations and inequalities with absolute value, solve irrational equations, quadratic equations, exponential and logarithmic equations. The student can work with logarithms, he/she knows trigonometric functions and their properties, trigonometric equations, linear fractional functions, the inverse, polynomial functions and their properties. The student is able to depict graphs of all elementary functions and their modifications.

Grading of the course: First Test/Seminar Work/ … : maximum 30% (0-30 points) Final Test: maximum 70% (0-70 points) Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points.

- Attendance in lessons is defined in a separate internal standard of ITB (Evidence of attendance of students at ITB). It is compulsory, except of the lectures, for full-time students to attend 70 % lesson of the subjet in a semester.
