- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The aim is to gain knowedge in the elimination of defects and disorders of the substructure. The student will be able to define, describe and assess the implementation of the principles of reconstruction and substructure, s/he is able to propose a reconstruction of the substructure corresponding to the investor's requirements and relevant legislation.

- Location of the problem in rehabilitation of humid masonry in waterproofing technology Waterproofing materials and construction of substructures, hydrophysical exposure Dendrology, destructive influence of vegetation on substructure Hydroinsulation principles, direct and indirect methods of waterproofing Remediation methods - mechanical, chemical, electroosmotic, redevelopment plaster air-insulation systems, waterproofing and sealing mortar and other resources, drainage, modification of terrain, soil injection Surveys damp buildings - a survey of moisture, salinity survey, engineering-geological surveys, special surveys Rehabilitation of humid masonry project Check of the quality of repair work Use of sanitation systems Experience in rehabilitation of humid masonry applications - examples of implementation Moisture regimes rehabilitated structures Defects in masonry restoration and repair of rehabilitated structures Standardization of methods for rehabilitation of humid masonry restoration and development trends of wet masonry

- Submitting a project in a given term, attendance. The exam consists of written and oral part. Oral part is possible only when the written part is completed. Written part is neccessary to fulfill to 66%. Classification: A (100-94%), B (93-87%), C (86-80 %), D (79-73%), E (72-66%), X (65-30%), F (29-0%).
