Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The student gets special expertise in the subject of defect, and fault elimination of the low building.
Syllabus
  • The location of the damp wall rehabilitation in hydroinsulation engineering. Hydroinsulation materials and constructions of low buildings, hydrophysical exposition. Dendrology, the destructive influence of vegetation on the low building. Hydroinsulation principles, direct and indirect hydroinsulation methods. Rehabilitation methods - mechanical, chemical, electroosmotic, rehabilitative plastering, airinsulation systems, hydroinsulation and tightly fit mortars, and other means, drains, terrain adjustments, soil injecting. Damp buiding assessment - damp assessment, salination assessment, engineering-geological assessment, special assessments. Damp wall rehabilitation project. Quality control of rehabilitation work. The conditions of the use of rehabilitation systems. The experience of the applications of damp wall rehabilitation - implementation examples. Damp modes of rehabilatated structures. Damp wall rehabilitation defects, and the repairs of the rehabilitated structures. The standardization of the methods of damp wall rehabilitation, and the directions of damp wall development.

Exam conditions
Submitting a project in a given term, attendance. The exam consists of written and oral part. Oral part is possible only when the written part is completed. Written part is neccessary to fulfill to 66%. Classification: A (100-94%), B (93-87%), C (86-80 %), D (79-73%), E (72-66%), X (65-30%), F (29-0%).
