Anotace
Dále analyzovali formování lidského kapitálu, uplatnění absolventů vysokých škol na trhu práce a současnou vzdělávací politiku a financování vysokých škol v České republice. Jako hlavní metody využívali dotazníkové šetření, regresi časových řad, historickou analýzu pramenů, regionální komparaci, analytické grafy a SWOT analýzu.

The expert collective monograph „Laber Markets in the Czech Republic after 1989. Regional Comparison of Labor Policies“ examines the historical context of the employment development in the Czech republic, and compares the developments in the South Bohemian and the Ústí nad Labem Regions; it formulates the differences between the start of the transformation and key factors that influences the economic transformation, and the results of the transformation in both regions. It further defines the main socio-economic differences of both regions and presents the result of the institutional analysis, which resulted from interviewing offices, employment agencies and other entities active on the labor market. In the course of the quantitative and qualitative analyses, the authors discovered that there are indeed differences in the effectiveness of the active employment policy and the passive employment policy tools’ expenses when analyzing the unemployment rate, both when looking only at the aggregate labor market in the Czech republic, and comparing the regions. The authors further state that the public institutions see problems of the labor market differently than non-governmental institutions or private employment agencies. The authors also focus on discovering inefficiencies on the labor markets and factors that influence the forming of human capital in the last twenty years by looking at the position of university graduates on the labor market and by looking at the current education policy and university financing in the Czech Republic. The main methods used were the questionnaire inquiry, time series regression, historical sources analysis, regional comparison, analytical graphs and SWOT analysis.
