N_SFB/S01: Thu 9:40–11:10 D315, M. Kraus - Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge of Buildings physics (acoustics, thermal protection of buildings)
- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The course deals with evaluations of the physical parameters of indoor environment. The first part is dedicated to the thermal protection of buildings. This part deals with the transfer of heat in building constructions. The second part of the course is dedicated to the building acoustics, noise, room acoustics, vibration, shock and basics of 3D simulation in ODEON.
- Learning outcomes
- the student is acquainted with the quantification and evaluation of physical quantities in the indoor environment of buildings. He is knowledgeable in the field of thermal protection of buildings dealing with heat dissipation in building structures. The subject of building and spatial acoustics follows the bachelor's study. He also gained knowledge in the field of building acoustics, especially structural noise and vibration propagation by building constructions and design, as well as in the field of acoustics, which deals with the diffusion of sound in a closed space and the design of acoustic modifications. The student gained experience with 3D acoustics simulations in SOFTWARE ODEON.
