Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with strategic management, systems of management and strategic methods. The successful graduate has the basic knowledge of strategic management of the business community affected by the scientific, technical and socio-economic progress and development in the 21st century. He can independently perform characteristics of the enterprise including evaluation of the effectiveness of results by means of using strategic methods of internal and external business environment.
Learning outcomes
- students can define an enterprise as a system, - students understand the strategic management paradigm, - students know the developmental phases of strategic management, - students understand the basic terms of strategic management (strategy, strategic management process and its phase); - students understand the hierarchy and classification of strategies - students know the principles of corporate strategy formation, - students understand the principles of strategic analysis, - students know the principles of projection of modern organizational structures, - students understand the concept of a competitive advantage, - students can apply basic methods for evaluation the internal and external business environment (internal and external strategic analysis) - students know principles of selected managerial methods.

  • 1. Enterprise as a system, business environment - internal, external, factors that change the business environment, manager as a strategist 2. The development of strategic management, stages of development and basic concepts: strategy, strategic management, strategic thinking and decision making 3. The process of strategic management, strategy hierarchy (complex enterprise strategy - corporate strategy, business strategy, sub-strategies) 4. Models of strategic management, strategic situational analysis - external analysis, internal analysis, SWOT analysis, strategic methods for evaluation of the internal and external environment 5. The condition for achieving the subject is demonstrating presentation of one analysis used for evaluation of internal or external business environment and submitting a set of seminar papers. The maximum number of points which can be obtained from one term test is 15 points. The same number of points, i.e. 15 points, can be obtained for the set of seminar papers. Grading of the course: First Test and Project: maximum 30% (0-30 points), Final Test: maximum 70% (0-70 points). Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points: A 100 – 90, B 89,99 – 84, C 83,99 – 77, D 76,99 – 73, E 72,99 – 70, FX 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 - 0.

Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with strategic management, systems of management and strategic methods. The successful graduate has the basic knowledge of strategic management of the business community affected by the scientific, technical and socio-economic progress and development in the 21st century. He can independently perform characteristics of the enterprise including evaluation of the effectiveness of results by means of using strategic methods of internal and external business environment.
Learning outcomes
- students can define an enterprise as a system, - students understand the strategic management paradigm, - students know the developmental phases of strategic management, - students understand the basic terms of strategic management (strategy, strategic management process and its phase); - students understand the hierarchy and classification of strategies - students know the principles of corporate strategy formation, - students understand the principles of strategic analysis, - students know the principles of projection of modern organizational structures, - students understand the concept of a competitive advantage, - students can apply basic methods for evaluation the internal and external business environment (internal and external strategic analysis) - students know principles of selected managerial methods.

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with strategic management, systems of management and strategic methods. The successful graduate has the basic knowledge of strategic management of the business community affected by the scientific, technical and socio-economic progress and development in the 21st century. He can independently perform characteristics of the enterprise including evaluation of the effectiveness of results by means of using strategic methods of internal and external business environment.

  • 1. Enterprise as a system, business environment - internal, external, factors that change the business environment, manager as a strategist 2. The development of strategic management, stages of development and basic concepts: strategy, strategic management, strategic thinking and decision making 3. The process of strategic management, strategy hierarchy (complex enterprise strategy - corporate strategy, business strategy, sub-strategies) 4. Models of strategic management, strategic situational analysis - external analysis, internal analysis, SWOT analysis, strategic methods for evaluation of the internal and external environment 5. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with strategic management, systems of management and strategic methods. The successful graduate has the basic knowledge of strategic management of the business community affected by the scientific, technical and socio-economic progress and development in the 21st century. The maximum number of points which can be obtained from one term test is 15 points. The same number of points, i.e. 15 points, can be obtained for the set of seminar papers. It is necessary to write one final test and obtain at least 70 % of the 70 points. If the student gets 48-21 points, he has the right to repeat the final test. For successful completion of the course it is required to obtain the sum of at least 70 points (term test + set of seminar papers + final test). Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to acquiant students with the problems of enterprise strategic management and methods of strategic management with the knowledge of ecenomy. Successful graduates of the subject: - master basic knowledge of strategic management from the development of economy sphere point of view as well as from the expected changes connected to scientific-technical and social atributes of 21st century point of view - are able to perform characteristics of a company including the evaluation of its effectiveness in the field of organisation management, characteristics of achiveved outputs and company portfolio - for a concrete company they are able to apply methods for company strategy determination (SWOT analysis, Porter´s model, method of determination of strategic alternatives, competitor analysis, branch atractivity analysis, creating competition advantages and strategic clock, portfolio analysis with the help of BCG matrix, SPACE analysis, STEP analysis, specific opportunities sources analysis) - are able to characterize modern organisation and management structures ( net structure, virtual company, hollow company, amoeba)

Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to acquiant students with the problems of enterprise strategic management and methods of strategic management with the knowledge of ecenomy. Successful graduates of the subject: - master basic knowledge of strategic management from the development of economy sphere point of view as well as from the expected changes connected to scientific-technical and social atributes of 21st century point of view - are able to perform characteristics of a company including the evaluation of its effectiveness in the field of organisation management, characteristics of achiveved outputs and company portfolio - for a concrete company they are able to apply methods for company strategy determination (SWOT analysis, Porter´s model, method of determination of strategic alternatives, competitor analysis, branch atractivity analysis, creating competition advantages and strategic clock, portfolio analysis with the help of BCG matrix, SPACE analysis, STEP analysis, specific opportunities sources analysis) - are able to characterize modern organisation and management structures ( net structure, virtual company, hollow company, amoeba)

Filling of this subject is in acquaintance with principles and methods of strategic management. the aim is to hand over basic piece of knowledge about strategic management to students. And thats how from today's steps of business sphere development point of view, so from expected changes related with scholarship - technical and social attributes of the 21. century

  • 1. The development of strategic management 2. Strategic management, strategic thinking and decision-making, 3. Business policy, sorts, forms and their projection 4. Delimitation of strategic management frame - elements, visions, purposes, positions and methods 5. Company and its interaction with external background 6. Company behaviour and competitive advantage making 7. Analysis of external business background - analysis of market, scientific and technical progress and social-cultural environment and analysis of economic and of system of law (STEP, Porters mock - up, strategic maps, competition analysis) 8. Analysis of internal - key factors policy, SWOT, portfolio, SPACE analysis 9. Strategic option and business policy 10. Full business policy and her implementation 11. Controlling of strategic changes (reconfiguration suits) 12. Evaluation of strategic changes 13. Strategic coalition, forms and their molding 14. Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with strategic management, systems of management and strategic methods. The successful graduate has the basic knowledge of strategic management of the business community affected by the scientific, technical and socio-economic progress and development in the 21st century. He can independently perform characteristics of the enterprise including evaluation of the effectiveness of results by means of using strategic methods of internal and external business environment.
Learning outcomes
- students can define an enterprise as a system, - students understand the strategic management paradigm, - students know the developmental phases of strategic management, - students understand the basic terms of strategic management (strategy, strategic management process and its phase); - students understand the hierarchy and classification of strategies - students know the principles of corporate strategy formation, - students understand the principles of strategic analysis, - students know the principles of projection of modern organizational structures, - students understand the concept of a competitive advantage, - students can apply basic methods for evaluation the internal and external business environment (internal and external strategic analysis) - students know principles of selected managerial methods.

The condition for achieving the subject is demonstrating presentation of one analysis used for evaluation of internal or external business environment and submitting a set of seminar papers. The maximum number of points which can be obtained from one term test is 15 points. The same number of points, i.e. 15 points, can be obtained for the set of seminar papers. Grading of the course: First Test and Project: maximum 30% (0-30 points), Final Test: maximum 70% (0-70 points). Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points: A 100 – 90, B 89,99 – 84, C 83,99 – 77, D 76,99 – 73, E 72,99 – 70, FX 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 - 0.

Exam conditions
The condition for achieving the subject is demonstrating presentation of one analysis used for evaluation of internal or external business environment and submitting a set of seminar papers. The maximum number of points which can be obtained from one term test is 15 points. The same number of points, i.e. 15 points, can be obtained for the set of seminar papers. Grading of the course: First Test and Project: maximum 30% (0-30 points), Final Test: maximum 70% (0-70 points). Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points: A 100 – 90, B 89,99 – 84, C 83,99 – 77, D 76,99 – 73, E 72,99 – 70, FX 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 - 0.

Contents of this subject is acquainting with principles and methods of strategic management. The aim is to hand over basic pieces of knowledge of strategic management to students from the point of view both today's level of business sphere development and expected changes related with science - technical and social attributes of the 21st century.
