- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The aim of the subject is the acquisition of the professionaly focused language skills and knowledge. The acquired productive and receptive skills are in accordance with the descriptor of B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, including the grammatical rules.
- Learning outcomes
- After the successful completion of the course, the student masters the language skills in order to: describe professionally oriented situations, express in an efficient way the main essence of the idea or the problem; talk professionally about the given topics. The student is able to communicate and can take an opinion on the given matter. The student uses the professional vocabulary (with only a little hesitation and using the periphrastic forms) his/her opinion within the scale of the given topics. The student is able to maintain the discussion on the current topics and to apply his/her knowledge in practice

- Grading of the course: Final Test 70% (0 – 70 points) and continuous evaluation 30% (0-30). The final test requires B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. - Classes will be realized via MS Teams in real time according to the relevant timetable.
Participation in all forms of education is solved by a separate internal norm of VŠTE (Evidence of attendance of students at VŠTE). 70% attendance at seminars and tutorials is obligatory for full-time students.
