Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is the acquisition of the professionaly focused language skills and knowledge in the field of civil engineering and construction management. The productive and receptive skills are in accordance with the descriptor of B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, including the grammatical rules. After the successful completion of the course, the student masters the language skills in order to: - describe in an efficient way the main essence of the idea or the problem; - talk professionally about the given topics. The student is able to communicate and can take an opinion on the given matter. - The student uses the professionally focused vocabulary to express (with only a little hesitation and using the periphrastic forms) his/her opinion within the scale of the given economic topics. - The student is able to maintain the discussion on the current topics and to apply his/her knowledge in practice.

Dams and their significance 6. Construction traffic - preparation and construction 7. Connection to the land engineering networks and communications and technical equipment of buildings 8. Exam conditions
To write one test and present one oral presentation. The oral presentation is held in accordance with the schedule set by the teacher of the course. The score corresponds to the percentage ratio of assessment methods (the oral speech maximum of 20 points, test maximum of 80 points, maximum of both parts 100 points). For the successful completion of the course, the students have to achieve at least 70%, or 70 points from both parts.
