The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to create an optimized design of a given object of civic amenities (administration, services, education, health care, culture,…), agriculture or industry, including the layout for the purpose and the design of a suitable structural system of the support system. The proposal will be based on current knowledge in the field of sustainable construction. An integral part of the project is the study of the interaction between the landscape and the urban environment. The text and drawing part will be processed using computer technology.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student is able to: - design an architectural solution for a given type of building; - design design and technical solutions; - prepare project documentation according to valid regulations.

Exam conditions
The condition for granting the credit is the submitted complete semester project, which can be evaluated with a maximum of 80 points. Individual drawings and studies of the project will be consulted and agreed. The semester project will be developed at the prescribed graphic level. The complexity of the project (requirements of the Building Act for the project for a building permit) can be evaluated max. 15 points, the graphic level of the drawings and the level of the text part max. 10 points and the quality of the project content max. 55 points. For further requirements, see the instructions for the exercises (the student will receive in the first week of teaching). In the continuous assessment, the student can obtain a maximum of 10 points for the presentation and inventive approach, as well as a maximum of 10 points for active project consultations. The total gain of points (sum for the project, consultation, presentation and disposition) can be max. 100. Course evaluation: 100-70 points = counted 69-0 points = not included

Attendance at classes in all forms is governed by a separate internal standard of VŠTE (Records of student attendance at VŠTE). For full-time students, 70% attendance is required for contact classes, ie everything except lectures.
