Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will gain a general overview of expertise in the Czech Republic and in the world, can perceive expertise in the full breadth of the society. The student will learn the basic international sources devoted to expertise. He will get an overview of his own process of expert activity. They will get acquainted with the definitions of price and value, as well as will perceive different standards and levels of value.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
Understands the role of the expert, his rights and duties and responsibilities.
It applies the acquired knowledge from Czech and international sources regulating expertise.
Distinguish between the terms value and price.
Understands different standards of value.
Applies the acquired knowledge of administrative law.
Understands the process of expert activity and the process of creating an expert opinion.

Exam conditions
For successful completion of the course it is necessary to achieve a summative pass mark of at least 70% in the summative assessment under the conditions set out below. 30 points can be obtained in the intermediate assessment, i.e. 30%. A total of 70 points, i.e. 70 %, may be obtained in the final assessment.

The overall classification of the course, i.e. points for the final assessment (70 - 0) + points from the interim assessment (30 - 0): A 100 - 90, B 89.99 - 84, C 83.99 - 77, D 76.99 - 73, E 72.99 - 70, FX 69.99 - 30, F 29.99 - 0.

A full-time student is required to meet the mandatory 70% attendance in contact classes, i.e. everything except lectures. If attendance is not met, the student will automatically be graded "-".

The course is taught annually.
Teacher's information
Participation in all forms of teaching is dealt with in a separate internal standard of the VŠTE (Recording of student attendance at the VŠTE). For full-time students, 70% attendance is compulsory at seminars.

Students with an Individual Study Plan (ISP) are obliged to contact the teacher no later than in the first week of the semester or immediately after its approval with a request to arrange the teaching system and the end of the course, in case the student fails to do so, his/her ISP will not be taken into account. If students have any questions, they can contact the Valuation Group Leader by emailing krulicky@mail.vstecb.cz.
