Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to master knowledge and skills to develop a business plan. Based on the integration of knowledge and skills acquired in previous studies and the use of interdisciplinary relations student will be able to proceed with the preparation of a business plan. The successful student of this course is able to apply theoretical knowledge in the processing of a given project, make a detailed situational analysis, analyze competition and market potential in the chosen fields. Students use knowledge and skills from other subjects (Business Economics, Business Management, Informatics, demonstrated ability to work with special literature, publicly available secondary sources, statistical data and legislation.By presenting the final version of the project, the student demonstrates the results / outputs, comments and discusses the data obtained, proposes measures to improve / change / innovate with a view to the future in line with current industry trends. Emphasis is placed on the improvement of presentation and communication skills in teaching.
Learning outcomes
Through the final presentation of the project the student demonstrates the results of the project, proposes measures and recommendations for possible changes, modifications and innovations in accordance with trends and future expectations, discusses and draws partial and comprehensive conclusions applicable and practicable in practice and in the relevant field. Emphasis is also placed on the ability of mutual communication, logical reasoning and thinking in a broader context, argumentation and defense of own primary results and secondary outputs of the presented project concept.

To achieve the successful completion of PRJ_1 Project 1, you have to achieve at least 70% of the total score.

Course instructions:

1. Teaching takes the form of seminars / exercises (compulsory attendance, participation in classes (full-time and part-time forms of study, lifelong learning) is addressed by a separate internal standard of VŠTE (Evidence of attendance at ITB). For full-time students 70% attendance is required for contact lessons, ie outside lectures.

2. Students independently prepare a project application (grant) and a case study. The consultations take place during the lessons exclusively with the seminar group tutor. The project is elaborated individually and submitted in written electronic form through the attendance room to Informatic Systems of ITB in MS Word format according to the term given by the seminar group teacher. The presentation is created in the MS PowerPoint program and runs in the term given by the seminar group tutor.

3. A case study, including a project application (grant), is presented and defended on a date set by the teacher of the relevant seminar group.

4. For the successful completion of the course, at least 70% of the overall rating is required. 5. Students work on a semester project within the course, controlled consultations take place.
