Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The student will be introduced to the process of strategical planning cycle with the purpose of projection of a strategical development of a given company. They will acquire knowledge from the area of internal and external strategical analyses, from the area pf formulation, choice and implementation of strategy including the classification of strategies according to management levels (from a company-wide strategy to partial – functional strategies).
Learning outcomes
Understands the basic terminology of strategic management (strategy, strategic management, paradigm and development stages of strategic management); Is able to describe the individual stages of strategic management process; Knows the basics of creating business strategies; Understands the basic principles of strategic situation analysis; Is able to apply the basic methods for evaluating internal and external business environment (internal and external strategic analysis).
