Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
Elaboration of the chosen architectural concept of the solution of the given building. Acquisition of knowledge of structural design and the ability to solve structural and technical problems. Development of skills in architectural and structural design of buildings while adhering to the appropriate typological principles and principles of design of building structures.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- to complete the chosen architectural solution;
- design design and technical solution;
- prepare project documentation for the building permit according to valid regulations

Exam conditions
The work is assigned and coordinated by the subject guarantor under the supervision of the study program guarantor. According to the type of assignment and specialization, the project is consulted in advance by the teachers of the Department of Civil Engineering, VŠTE. The project is consulted and evaluated in the development phases according to predetermined criteria.

PART A) Acquisition of knowledge of structural design and the ability to solve structural and technical problems in compliance with the relevant typological principles and principles of design of building structures. Elaboration of project documentation of the assigned building at the level of documentation for the building permit (evaluation 50%).

PART B) Selection of the topic of the thesis and the supervisor of the final thesis (Option: continuation of the project work from N_PJK_1 | Listed topic on the proposal of KST members | Design of own topic and provision of own thesis supervisor from KST members). Concretization of the diploma thesis assignment, elaboration of preliminary syllabus, brief outline of the content of individual chapters (eg laboratory measurement methodology), provision of necessary literature and elaboration of list according to ISO 690, elaboration of project documentation above mandatory scope (see below), alternative determination of research questions and methodology in in the case of a listed or proposed topic of the thesis (min. 10 NS according to the template of the thesis)

Credit is awarded by the guarantor of the course based on the evaluation of the teacher and the head of the thesis, while each of the above parts must be met at least 70%. The evaluation ratio (50/50) can be adjusted with regard to the scope and focus of the diploma thesis on the basis of an agreement between the program guarantor, the subject guarantor and the thesis supervisor.

Attendance at classes in all forms is governed by a separate internal standard of VŠTE (Records of student attendance at VŠTE). For full-time students, 70% attendance is required for contact classes, ie everything except lectures.
