The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
Students will practice the ability to complete the architectural project of the building with respect to aesthetic, functional and technical requirements of the building. Students acquire the appropriate skills of architectural and structural engineering. Students design a complete documentation for construction. The basic elements forming the interior are subjected to analysis in relation to the aesthetic, functional, technical requirements.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to compose the documentation for entering and building construction (DPS) according to Annex No. 12 of Decree No. 499/2006 Coll., on construction documentation, as amended in the Decree No. 62/2013 Coll. according to the teacher's instructions.

Exam conditions
PART A) Acquire structural design knowledge and the ability to solve structural and engineering problems while adhering to appropriate typological principles and design principles of building structures. Development of the design documentation of a specified building to the level of documentation for planning permission (50 % marks):

- Graphical level of drawings and level of text (0-10 points)

- Content quality of the project (0-35 points)

- Active approach and consultation during the semester (0-5 points)

The entire project (documentation for building permit in~prescribed scope) will be prepared at the prescribed graphic level, completed and structured according to Decree No. 62/2013 Coll., on documentation of buildings, as amended (No. 405/2017 Coll., Annex No. 12). The entire project will be uploaded in electronic form (pdf) by the deadline for submission to the IT system, where it will be checked and subsequently archived.

PART B) Selection of the topic of the DP and the supervisor of the thesis (Choice: continuation of the project work from~N_PJK_1 | Proposed topic at the suggestion of KST members | Proposal of own topic and provision of own supervisor from~KST members). Concretization of the thesis assignment, elaboration of the preliminary outline, brief outline of the content of individual chapters (e.g.

Credit is awarded by the course supervisor on the basis of the assessment of the tutor and the DP supervisor, with each of the~above sections to be completed to at least 70%. The assessment ratio (50/50) may be adjusted by agreement between the programme supervisor, the course supervisor and the thesis supervisor, taking into account the scope and focus of the thesis.

The course will be taught mainly in the form of consultations of a semester project. Participation in all forms of instruction is governed by a separate internal regulation of VŠTE (Attendance of students at VŠTE). For full-time students, 70% attendance is mandatory in contact instruction, i.e., everything except lectures.
