- The aim is to introduce students to drawing and reading construction drawings. The student after successful completion: a) is able to read construction drawings of technical documentation b) can explain what the different lines, characters, drawings, etc. in the hatch technical documentation c) is capable to apply knowledge gained in developing his/her own technical documentation
- Syllabus
- 1. General information about the building plans, standards, formats, lines - types and their use 2. Standard equipment for the project building permits - plans, sections, elevations and orientation of buildings on the drawing 3. Principles of dimensioning drawings and description 4. View openings in the drawings - windows, doors (plan, section, elevation) and related terminology 5. View chimneys, vents and ventilation shafts 6. Fundamentals of drawing floor, Legend rooms, materials, identification table 7. Fundamentals of drawing basics 8. Fundamentals of drawing excavations 9. Fundamentals of drawing limits 10. Fundamentals of drawing of the truss, pitched and flat roofs 11. Fundamentals of drawing stairs 12.Vertical section view of the subject and technical view 13. Drawing floors, tiles, fixtures and penetrations
