- Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the essence and processes related to business management and planning, for the effective implementation of material for production processes in the value chain.

- Upon successful completion of this course, the student: 19.1 can suitably select and apply materials according to the breakdown, properties and criteria, 19.2 can suitably apply materials according to labeling from world producers, 19.3 manage the evaluation of material surfaces, 19.4 can suitably characterize current packaging materials in practice, 19.5 can characterize materials for the automotive industry, 19.6 can choose and apply materials in current production practice, 19.7 can choose and apply composite materials and plastics in current practice, 19.8 can choose and apply progressive materials in current practice, 19.9 can select and apply conventional and progressive materials processing processes.
