- The business plan is an integral part of every company that wants to stay on the market for a long time and is interested in ensuring long-term success. Through a business plan, it is possible to create a product concept of a product / service that has an impact on the existing market or can fill a gap in the market for a selected product / service. The purpose of creating a business plan is to formulate as accurately as possible a competitive advantage with regard to the quality, availability and variability of extended / additional services. The aim of the course Case Study - Business Plan is to develop a business plan in the form of a case study implemented for a specific company / organization.
- Learning outcomes
- After successfully completing the course, the student:
1. understands the meaning of a business plan and its structure
2. knows the principles of creating a business plan - case studies
3. can analyse the target market and competition, draw up a marketing and sales plan, a financial plan etc.
4. can predict the future development of the company

Participation in all forms of teaching is governed by a separate internal VŠTE regulation (Evidence of student attendance at VŠTE). For full-time students, 70% attendance at seminars is mandatory. Students with an individual study plan (ISP) will only submit a completed case study (100%) for the Business Plan – Case Study course. Students are required to contact the course guarantor (e-mail: rowland@znalcivste.cz) immediately after approval of their individual study plan (ISP). If the student fails to do so, their ISP will not be taken into account. For students in the combined form of study, attendance at the introductory seminar is mandatory. If a student in the combined form is unable to attend the introductory seminar, they are required to contact the course guarantor well in advance.
