Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with operational, technical and organizational approaches in the production process. It also deals with the terminology and methodology of input and output elements of production processes and the production process itself. The course illuminates students with the managerial knowledge needed to solve problems related to the introduction of logistics approaches to production, the issue of operational planning in relation to production logistics and related processes and activities. The course provides and integrates students' knowledge necessary for the use of production management in practice.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
1. understands the logistics management of production and knows the basic methods and progressive strategies of production management,
2. explain the concept of production process and production system, using the knowledge gained in the subject,
3. determine the size of the production cycle and the production batch,
4. calculates equipment power and production capacity,
5. locates, classifies and uses information relevant for the selection of information systems to improve the function of the production system,
6. understands the importance of quality assessment systems,
7. means the costs of the production process,
8. can classify and calculate them,
9. knows modern methods of production process management and can explain their essence,
10. understands the production process planning system.

Exam conditions
In order to successfully complete the course, it is necessary to achieve a total of at least 70% of the continuous and final evaluation under the conditions set out below. 30 points, ie 30%, can be obtained in the continuous evaluation. A total of 70 points, ie 70%, can be obtained in the final evaluation. Overall classification of the course, ie points for the final evaluation (70 - 0) + points from the continuous evaluation (30 - 0): A 100 - 90, B 89,99 - 84, C 83,99 - 77, D 76,99 - 73, E 72.99 - 70, FX 69.99 - 30, F 29.99 - 0. The student of the full-time form of study is obliged to fulfill the obligatory 70% attendance at contact teaching, ie everything except lectures. If the participation is not met, the student will be automatically classified "F".
