Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The supposed input level of students' knowledge is A2/B1 level in the Common Europen Framework of Reference for Languages. The output level is B2 with the focus on a professional and technical language of the studied field. The course constists of two modules which aim to the gradual development of the fixed output level. Module 1: The aim of the subject is the gradual development of the communicative skills needed for the practice in the civil engineering. The basic precondition is the active mastering of the professional vocabulary of the studied field in the range of given topics. The emphasis is given mainly on the development of the dialogical competence, reading comperehension and communicative skills connected with the presentation of the professional topic in the field of construction.
