Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim is to famipresent basics of budgeting and pricing structures. Students can build the calculation of the total cost of a construction. They control the compilation of the assessment and detailed itemized budget for easy construction. They are able to process an individual calculation. They have an overview of the normative base construction, basic costing techniques, can appreciate the design work, engineering work, can compile bid (price) works. Students should be able to draw up a timetable for construction.
Syllabus
  • ­1) The cost of construction (building and construction work, building construction, life cycle costs (LCC)). 2) Methods for pricing, pricing of construction output in various stages of the project and project documentation. 3) The calculation of the total construction cost, valuation bases. 4) Setting the statement of area, measurement of construction and works 5) A detailed itemized budget, and rules of procedure for preparation of the valuation bases. Specifications in budget. 6) Calculation and analysis of life cycle cost of construction. 7) Tenders and prices. Extra work, less work additions to the budget . 8) Calculation formula, the content of individual cost elements, examples. Documents of the Czech Republic and abroad, calculation formula in software for budgeting. 9) Tender preparation of construction, preparation of construction production. 10) Scheduling the work. 11) Evaluation of design and engineering activities. Valuation of budget work. 12) Market valuation - cost, yield and comparison principle. 13) Administrative valuation
