- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the theory and practice of human resource management in organizations and its main tools as well as directions for further development. As part of the course, students will gradually become familiar with selected key personnel functions.
- Learning outcomes
- After successfully completing the course, the student:
1. understands the importance and main tasks of human resources management in the organization and the labor-legal framework of human resources management,
2. knows basic personnel activities,
3. understands the principles of creating a personnel organization and its changes as well as the principles of personnel planning of the organization, defines the filling of jobs, manages the process of hiring and adaptation of employees,
4. understands the principles of managing and evaluating the work performance of employees, and controlling personnel costs, co-creates reward, motivation and communication systems, knows the principles of a healthy and ethical organizational culture,
5. understands the requirements of training and further education and development of employees, can plan, organize and evaluate corporate training. - Syllabus

Final grading:
final test – 70 points (70 %)
Successful graduates of the course have to get total of at least 70 points under the following conditions: Mid-term grading: maximum 30% (0-30 points). Final grading: maximum 70% (0-70 points). Classification: A 100 – 90, B 89,99 – 84, C 83,99 – 77, D 76,99 – 73, E 72,99 – 70, FX 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 – 0.
The students of the full-time form of study are obliged to fulfill the 70% attendance at the seminars. If the attendance is not met, the students will be automatically classified with the grade "-".

- Participation in classes in all forms is dealt with by a separate VŠTE internal standard (Student Attendance Records at VŠTE). Monitored attendance at full-time lectures
Students with an individual study plan will take only a 100-point final test in the exam period. However, students are obliged to contact the teacher immediately after the approval of the individual study plan (ISP), if the student does not do so, his ISP will not be taken into account.
