The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students with the principles of designing and construction of transportation projects with a respect to their utilization for transport.
Learning outcomes
Student after completing the course perceives transport structures from the view of a technical traffic specialist, uses specialized terminology and knows the principles of designing of roads, railways, bridges, underground structures - tunnels and airports. Graduent of the course is partially able to design sub-sections of linear structures and is able to describe them schematically.

Exam conditions
For semestral rating student can receive a maximum of 30 points. Instructions for semestral activities will be determined at the beginning of the semester by the teacher.

A written examination may receive a maximum of 70 points. Total score represents the sum of points for the seminary work and written examination.

Grading Scale: A 100 – 90, B 89,99 – 84, C 83,99 – 77, D 76,99 – 73, E 72,99 – 70, FX 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 - 0.

Attendance in lessons is defined in a separate internal standard of ITB (Evidence of attendance of students at ITB). For full-time students, attendance at the seminars is not monitored, as students work on a semester project related to the real transport construction of roads as part of the exercises - an individual independent activity in the form of consultations.
