- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with basic psychological terminology in relation to personality psychology. The aim is to understand, clarify, predict and subsequently regulate personality processes and manifestations and to understand the methods of personality psychology, classification of psychological phenomena, and theories of personality.
- Learning outcomes
- Successful graduates of the course:
- can clarify basic concepts in the field of personality psychology,
- can describe mental phenomena (mental processes, mental properties, mental states),
- analyzes and evaluates methods of personality psychology - research and diagnostic techniques,
- is able to apply knowledge from the field of personality psychology in the context of work and personal life,
- knows the essence of the main psychological theories of personality, including their benefits and limitations, and the essence of developmental psychology of personality. - Syllabus

Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points under the following conditions: Mid-term grading: maximum 30% (0-30 points). Final grading: maximum 70% (0-70 points). Classification: A 100 – 90, B 89,99 – 84, C 83,99 – 77, D 76,99 – 73, E 72,99 – 70, FX 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 – 0.

- The students of the full-time form of study are obliged to fulfill the 70% attendance at the seminars. If the attendance is not met, the students will be automatically classified with the grade "F". Students with an individual study plan will take only a 100-point final test in the exam period. However, students are obliged to contact the teacher immediately after the approval of the individual study plan (ISP), if the student does not do so, his ISP will not be taken into account. (In case of any questions, the student can contact the teacher via email: tmrhalek@mail.vstecb.cz).
