- The course is taught in the 4th semester of the 2nd year of the bachelor's form of study in the field of Business Economics. No additional prerequisites are required.

- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The student will learn to use managerial tools in the preparation and implementation of different types of innovations, which are the main source for increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of the company. The graduate will understand the issues of innovative business strategies and the importance of protecting intellectual property, the issue of introducing and commercializing the knowledge of research and innovation activities.

- Student will be able to:
Understand the role of research and development in the enterprise;
understand the role of the enterprise's knowledge capital;
develop evaluation criteria for innovative projects;
manage scientific research and development activities;
understand the basic tools of protecting intellectual property rights;

- The lectures will take place in online form via the MS Teams application in real time according to the timetable given on the VŠTE IS.
Attendance in lessons is defined in a separate internal standard of ITB (Evidence of attendance of students at ITB). It is compulsory, except of the lectures, for full-time students to attend 70 % lesson of the subject in a semester.
