Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
This course is based on the fact that the student has a basic understanding of the concepts of controlling and planning. Teaching is based on primary knowledge of these concepts, each concept is discussed in greater depth and at the same time, emphasis is placed on linking the two issues. Therefore planning is selected from managerial functions and the possibilities of the use of controlling within a planning process are emphasized. The graduate is able to define the concepts of controlling and planning, which includes the ability to define and practically apply the related problems.

  • Introduction into controlling as a subsystem of corporate management
  • Strategic and operative controlling
  • Marketing, commercial, productive, financial and personnel controlling
  • Integral, coordinating, informative, advisory competences of controlling
  • Internal and external problems of controlling
  • Controlling in terms of managerial accountancy
  • Controlling in terms of planning
  • Controlling functions vs. planning functions
  • Operative, tactical and strategic plans following a vision, mission and objectives
  • Controlling cycle : objective – classification of deviations – analysis of deviations – design of measures
  • Planning cycle: strategic and situational analysis – formation of strategy – implementation of strategy
  • Use of specialist controlling systems in terms of Customer Relationship Management
  • Use of specialist controlling systems in terms of Customer Relationship Marketing
