Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the subject Environment and safety of buildings is to introduce blended learning on the basics issues regarding the protection and creation of the environment and the health and safety aspects of the buildings. . On successful completion of the course, the student will : - Know the basic terminology of the subject ; - Understand the general issue of protection and creation of the environment and the need to assure safety of buildings; - Identify practical examples and outputs in relation to construction ; - Obtain the necessary amount of knowledge for operating activities. The subject designed,enables students to be familiar with the basic issues of human environment so that students understands the problems and possible solutions related with the impact of anthropogenic activities on the environment.

Exam conditions
Grading of the course: continuous evaluation: maximum 30% (0-30 points), Final Test: maximum 70% (0-70 points). Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points: A 100 – 90, B 89,99 – 84, C 83,99 – 77, D 76,99 – 73, E 72,99 – 70, FX 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 - 0.
