Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is the integration of knowledge and skills. A successfull student of this subject is able to apply his theoretical knowledge gained during his studies to create a project consisted of creating a particular company. Student uses his knowledge and skills from specialized subjects, informatics and languages, he demonstrates his skills of the ability of working with specialized literature, internet and laws. He is able to work in a team actively, coordinate the activity, accept different roles in a team and participate in a specialized discussion in final conclusion.making. He applies his language skills. At the presentation of the results, he uses social communication skills and is able to defend the results of a teamwork.

  • Preparation of a project on establishing the firm in four-member team focused on the areas:
  • 1 Business Purpose
  • 2 The choice of legal form of business, including its registration with the competent authorities
  • 3 Founding budget
  • 4 Marketing plan
  • 5 Bank negotiations
  • 6 Established accounting
  • 7 Staff schedule and their qualifications
  • 8 Copies of essential business contracts
  • 9 Promotional activities in two foreign languages 10. Business partners election 11. Drawing up basic business contracts 12. Advertising activities in two foreign languages 13. Presentation and defence of the project

Exam conditions
During the process of creating the project it is compulsory to attend at least two tutorials with a tutor. The project is made and handed in a written and electronic form via IS VŠTE Odevzdávárna (a link where students hand in seminar works and projects). The project is presented and defended by active participation of all members of the team in front of a group of students on a stated date.
