The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The target of the subject is the acquisition of English language bases. The student can communicate in ordinary situations which require simple and direct exchange of information. The student will meet the phonological system of English language, basic grammatical structures and will learn the everyday vocabulary. At the end of the semester, the student will be able to lead a short and simple communication using common phrases. He/she will be able to communicate in a simple way providing the other party speaks slowly and prominent and is ready to help. He/she can write short texts concerning the situations related to the family life, school and other topics.
