CAD_1 CAD Systems I
Students are suposed to know how to operate basic computer work in Windows and work in AutoCAD within the scope CAD systems I subject .
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
Extended work with AutoCAD graphics system on the plane, user interface change(keyboard shortcuts, etc.), use of the system advanced features (e.g. Multilines), external reference drawings, fundamentals of 3D modeling.
Syllabus
  • - Expansion configuration and basic settings - Modifications of line types, dimension and hatch styles - Creating own keys and simple instructions - Editing keyboard shortcuts - Inserting OLE objects - Design Center for inserting blocks - Introduction to 3D Modeling - editing and amending features (trimming, intersection, etc.). - Fundamentals of 3D modeling and visualization - Quick selection of elements - Press setting and files printing - layout - Basics of visualization. - Setting printing and printing files from the layout - Examples of other CAD systems Microstation - Examples of other CAD systems, Allplan
