Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
Repeat the of High School Physics needed for further study. Expand the knowledge gained during the previous studies. To teach students to apply basic knowledge of physics to everyday life.
Learning outcomes
Student can calculate basic examples from different areas of physics. He is able to apply this knowledge in everyday life. The student acquires the necessary basis for the future study of general physics and technical subjects.

Electric field, Electric current (circuits - Ohm's law), basic circuit components (RLC, source) 8. Thermal - Calorimetric Equation, Mixing Equations, Phase Transitions, Heat and Temperature 9. Ideal gas, state equation, PVT diagrams 10. Gravity vs. Gravity Field 11. Vibrations 12. Waves 13. Fundamentals of optics - lenses, mirrors

Exam conditions
Seminar Work: maximum 15% (0-30 points). Activity: 15 %. Final Test: maximum 70% (0-70 points). Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points. Possibility to repeat the test: 69,99 – 30, not fulfilled 29,99 – 0.

Attendance in lessons is defined in a separate internal standard of ITB (Evidence of attendance of students at ITB). It is compulsory, except of the lectures, for full-time students to attend 70 % lesson of the subjet in a semester.
