The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The course introduces students to the issues of process chains of engineering companies in connection with the links between technological and logistics processes and the competitiveness of engineering products in global markets.
Learning outcomes
The graduate of the course is able to define and explain the goals and tasks of logistics, can analyze and design processes and systems with target behavior, can plan logistics processes of production activities, can design and dimension handling, transport and storage means, can perform control operations, has basic knowledge operational, production and process management of production processes in mechanical engineering, as well as work safety in mechanical engineering.

  • 1. Material flow and logistics. 2. Flexibility of logistics. 3. Design of material flows in logistics. 4. Material flow analysis. 5. Graphic representation of material flow. 6. Methods of solving the location of buildings and workplaces. 7. Design of material handling technology. 8. Logistic elements in material flows. 9. Motion analysis of logistic elements and their selection. 10. Information and communication systems in material flow management logistics. 11. Basic technologies of automatic identification systems. 12. Control solution of a selected automated active logistics element. 13. Value chain from the point of view of sectoral differentiation.
