Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The course deals with the investment process - the purchase of a technological unit, movable property, a set of movables, etc., ie the pre-investment phase of the project, the investment phase, the implementation phase and the post-investment phase of the project. The main emphasis of the course is on the pre-investment phase - feasibility study and evaluation of investment options.

Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
- understands the life cycle of an investment,

- manages the risk management of investment projects,
- compiles decision trees and scenarios,

Exam conditions
Participation in the final test is compulsory for all students. In order to pass the course it is necessary to obtain at least 1/3 of the points from the final test. The overall classification of the course, i.e. points for the final assessment (35-0) + points for the investment project (50-0) + points for the project presentation (15-0): A 100-90, B 89.99-84, C 83.99-77, D 76.99-73, E 72.99-70, FX 69.99-30, F 29.99-0.

Attendance in all forms of study is regulated by a separate internal standard of VŠTE (Recording of Student Attendance at VŠTE). For full-time students, 70% attendance is compulsory in seminars and exercises. Students with an individual study plan will take a final test on the subject in the examination period, develop an investment project and present it to the teacher. Students are obliged to contact the teacher immediately after the approval of the Individual Study Plan (ISP), in case the student fails to do so, his/her ISP will not be taken into account. If they have any questions, they can contact the course supervisor via email krulicky@mail.vstecb.cz) Students will submit their term paper - investment project to the relevant submission room, they will also submit their ppt presentation to the relevant submission room by the same date. The submission date is by appointment with the teacher. Personal presentation of the project is necessary for full-time students on the dates agreed upon, students of the combined form of study will present the investment project during class time. The minimum score on the final test to pass the course is 12b. The submission of the term paper, its personal presentation and the final test are mandatory requirements for the completion of the course.
