A prerequisite for the successful completion of the course is student`s interest in the issue of landscape planning, namely Law No. 283/2021 Coll. and its implementing regulations. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- The aim is to present basic activities associated with the preparation and implementation planning documentation at all levels, modern trends and problems of sustainable development. Student will be able to explain the basic concepts related to planning issues, s/he will be able to estimate the impact changes in land use for sustainable development, s/he will be able to use advantage of spatial planning documents.

- After completing the course the student is able to explain the basic concepts related to planning issues, s/he is able to estimate the impact changes in land use for sustainable development, s/he can take advantage of spatial planning documents.

- The exact conditions for successfully completing the course will be announced by the instructor during the first class.
A. To pass the final written test, a minimum of 55% out of 70 points s required, i.e., at least 38 points.
B. An additional 30 points can be earned through a seminar paper on a selected topic assigned at the beginning of the semester.
C. If the student is interested, an optional oral examination may be taken, where it is possible to earn a maximum of 5 extra points added to the written test score.
The maximum total score from all parts is 100 points. To successfully complete the course, a minimum of 70 points must be achieved, calculated as the sum of points from parts A, B, and possibly C — that is, 70% overall.
Overall classification: A 100 – 90, B 89,99 – 84, C 83,99 – 77, D 76,99 – 73, E 72,99 – 70, FX 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 - 0. - Language of instruction

- The assignment of the seminar work, its content and deadlines will be communicated by the teacher at the first lesson.
Attendence in lessons is defined in a separate internal standard of ITB (Evidence of attendence of students at ITB). It is compulsory, except of the lectures, for full-time students to attend 70% lesson of the subject in a semester. For students of the combined form, more than 50% participation in block classes is mandatory. The student will independently supplement the information provided by the teacher in class during his absence (he will not request it individually from the teacher).
