Abstract
Abstract (in English)
An entry in an expert encyclopedia about administrative reforms implemented during the rule of the Queen of Bohemia and Hungary, Maria Theresa. She entrusted the minister Count Friedrich Wilhelm von Haugwitz with carrying these reforms out. He was inspired by Prussian centralism and its administrative system. During his reforms, he took away the responsibility for army administration and finances collection for its maintenance (contributions) from the supreme land officers and estate representatives. He negotiated the so-called Ten Year’s Recess.
