N2  - This article analyzes the main indicators of the labour market development in the Czech Republic, European Union and Russia during the recent crisis and post crisis period. The authors focus on exploring the connections of labour market development in selected countries. This article deals also with the issue of the development of nominal and real wages. The main attention is paid to the analysis o the trends of high unemployment rate, structural differences and very strong youth unemployment and its possible consequences are discussed too.
