Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to focus on current learning issues, its styles, selected issues of psychology of teaching and education, the development of the personality of students and teachers from a psychological point of view and psychological aspects of pedagogical communication.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students
- is familiar with concepts related to educational psychology;
- can characterize learning and its types, including an understanding of individual differences and patterns;
- manages the resolution of school conflicts;
- is familiar with the topic of motivation in relation to the educational process;
- can work with his mental health.
Syllabus
  • 1. Definition of educational psychology.
  • 2. Learning and maturation - definition, types of learning.
  • 3. Individual differences in learning, teaching styles, teaching methods.
  • 4. Determination of human behavior in the family, society.
  • 5. Psychological laws of learning, abilities and their development, acquisition, habits, habits and skills. Psychological foundations of didactic principles.
  • 6. Psychological systems. Psychology of teacher and student personality.
  • 7. Cognitive psychology, learning styles.
  • 8. Conflicts, difficult school situations and their management.
  • 9. Motivation and its importance in the pedagogical process.
  • 10. Mental health. The importance and tasks of mental hygiene. Work regime, rest, fatigue. Burnout syndrome and its prevention.
