- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The course "Technology and Transport Management - Public Transport with the Support of Green Skills and Sustainability" aims to present the relationship between technological issues and the management of public transport with an emphasis on practical operation in large cities and urban agglomerations, with a focus on the support of green skills and sustainability. The course also focuses on the possibilities of using renewable energy sources in public transport operations, exploring the environmental aspects of public transport from different perspectives, including comparisons with other modes of transport. The course also covers topics related to innovations in public transport vehicle propulsion technologies and their impact on energy efficiency.
- Learning outcomes
- The learning outcome lies in a deeper understanding of the environmental impact of public transport and the ability to perform analyses and calculations related to energy in the public transport sector. In this way, the course promotes the dissemination of knowledge in the field of sustainable public transport and prepares students for current challenges in the field of energy and environment. In addition, after completing the course, the student will be able to: - present the relationships between technological issues and public transport management with special attention to the promotion of green skills and sustainability, - define the possibilities of using renewable energy sources in public transport operations, examine the environmental aspects of public transport from various perspectives, - describe innovations in terms of public transport vehicle propulsion technologies and their impact on energy efficiency.
