- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the solution of bar, wall and slab structures by the finite element method applied to the solution of reinforced concrete structures and foundations. Beams and gratings on a flexible base. Board and wall constructions.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student is able to independently solve the structures solved in the course.
- Syllabus
- 1. Static model of the structure, preparation of input data, calculation, evaluation and control of results. 2. Solution of bar structures, wall and wall boards, solution of bars on flexible base and plates on flexible base. 3. Formulation of plate elements based on Kirchhoff's and Midlin's hypothesis, plate structures on elastic subsoil. 4. Introduction to nonlinear problems, geometric and material nonlinearity, methods for solving nonlinear equations. 5. Wall structures, types of stress, stress distribution, deformation. 6. Plate structures, types of stress, stress distribution, deformation.
