Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquire the basics of Grafisoft ArchiCAD 3D graphics system, which is used for designing and documentation of buildings. Upon successful completion of this course the student is able to set the user environment, lay out the work area. Can create a new project, work with elements and create project documentation drawings.

  • 1. Environment and philosophy of Grafisoft ArchiCAD, 2D and 3D environments, Navigator
  • 2. Set up floors, layers, layers, drawings, filters
  • 3. 2D drawing, basics of 3D drawing, basics of inserting and editing elements
  • 4. Ground plans, sections, views, details, axonometry and their interconnection, creation of cuts and views
  • 5. Inserting and editing elements - walls, columns, beams, slabs, stairs

The goal is to learn basics of graphic operating system Grafisoft ArchiCAD, which is used for parametric designing and documentation of buildings. After successful completion of the course the student is able to set user-defined environment, to organize a desktop. S/he can create a new project, insert components, edit parameters, and create drawings of project documentation.

  • 1. The environment and the philosophy of the system Grafisoft ArchiCAD, 2D and 3D environments, Navigator
  • 2. Setting floors, levels, layers, drawings, filters
  • 3. 2D drawing, 3D drawing basics, basics of inserting and editing elements
  • 4. Floor plans, sections, elevations, details, isometric and their interaction, create sections and elevations
  • 5. Inserting and editing elements - walls, columns, beams, slabs, staircases
  • 6. Inserting and editing elements - windows, doors, skylights, curtain walls
  • 7. Inserting and editing elements - the roof, shell, morph, zone Network (terrain)

The aim of the subject is the acquisition of the work with AutoCAD graphical program in the plane and space. After the successful completion of the course, the student is able to modify the user environment (keyboard shortcuts, etc.) and use the advanced functions of the system (such as multilines). The student can work with external reference drawings. He/she masters the basics of 3D modeling of buildings.

Upon successful completion of this course the student is able to set the user environment, lay out the work area. Can create a new project, work with elements and create project documentation drawings.

After successful completion of the course the student is able to set user-defined environment, to organize a desktop.
