- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The aim of the course is to teach students the basic issues of lighting, sunlight and acoustics of buildings; Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to apply the basic requirements for daylight, sunlight and acoustics. Can calculate the daylight factor and the sound pressure level, can determine the sun exposure of the object and assess the impact and airborne soundproofing, to acquaint the student with the issue of acoustic parameters of building structures in order to optimize the acoustic performance of buildings.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion of the course, the student is able to summarize the basic requirements of ISO and CSN standards. The second part is room acoustics, which deals with the propagation of sound in an enclosed space and design of acoustic modifications. 3D simulations of room acoustics will be performed in the ODEON SOFTWARE.
