Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the principles and use of modern managerial approaches in the field of finance in logistics management from setting the financial plan of the company in logistics for the period, implementing the necessary changes and adjustments that make immediate and changing customer requirements. Students will deepen their theoretical knowledge of subjects focused on business economics and finance. Focus on integrated logistics and financial services of third party logistics (3PL). Students will also get acquainted with controlling in logistics, with controlling approaches in company conditions and with their practical use.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student is able to understand the financial plan of a company in the field of logistics. Can orient himself with controlling approaches with their practical use.
Syllabus
  • 1. Economic parameters of the company and logistics. 2. Basic economic parameters and reports in logistics. 3. Financial aspects of logistics. Mergers, acquisitions and sales. Loans, valuations, objectivity assessments and estimates 4. Corporate logistics system, its structure, performance planning in financial and in-kind values ​​(performance plan). 5. Controlling model and its supporting parts (marketing and personnel controlling). 6. Financial controlling and goal setting. 7. Introduction of controlling models. 8. Controlling of controlled processes - cost and profit controlling in logistics. 9. Integration of financial management system and logistics information system. 10. Financial aspects of decision making and time factors, the price of immediate use and its use in the company. 11. Financial accounting and managerial accounting, budget models and without budget constraints. 12. Losses from failures of logistics chains (time and financial). 13. Integrated logistics and financial services of third parties logistics (3PL).
