Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to acquire knowledge and experience in the field of preparation, elaboration, presentation and defence of students´ work. Graduate of the subject: - is able to define the aim and hypothesis of work and elaborate methodology to its completion - is able to obtain information from information sources in accordance with quotation normative and to analyse it in accordance with stated aims of the work - is able to do synthesis of acquired knowledge and formulate conclusions including suggestion and recommendation - applies his/her knowledge of formal layout in the seminar work.

Exam conditions
Continuous rating: Continuous test (30%) - for successful completion of the test on ~ theoretical foundations, 30 points can be obtained. The test in e-learning form will be available to students from 10 weeks of teaching to 13 weeks of teaching in IS without limiting the number of attempts. Test evaluation: the student is successful (minimum 90%) - unsuccessful (less than 90%). If the student successfully passes the test, he / she obtains 30 points in the overall evaluation.

Final evaluation: The student will prepare a search on the assigned topic by the teacher, which will focus on the subjects of the profiling basis. The search must contain at least 30 literary sources, while min. 15 foreign language and at least 15 resources indexed in the WoS / Scopus database. Furthermore, the student will prepare a syllabus of a professional article with a link to the processed search. Citations and a list of used literature will be processed according to the VŠTE regulation. The student submits the processed research, including the syllabus of the professional article, to the Submission Office in the IS no later than the end of the 11th week of teaching. Up to 70 points can be obtained for the processing of a search and syllabus for a professional article according to the established principles. The condition for successful completion of the course is to obtain 70 points from both evaluated parts, ie from the continuous test and for the processing of research and syllabus for a professional article.

Overall classification of the course, ie points for seminar work and its presentation (max. 70) + points from the continuous test (30 or 0):

A 100 - 90, B 89.99 - 84, C 83.99 - 77, D 76.99 - 73, E 72.99 - 70, FX 69.99 - 30, F 29.99 - 0.

Attendance in lessons is defined in a separate internal standard of ITB (Evidence of attendance of students at ITB). It is compulsory, except of the lectures, for full-time students to attend 70 % lesson of the subjet in a semester.
