- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the primary and secondary functions of the company. The student will understand the importance of value-creating business processes. They will also understand the importance of selected secondary business processes. He will understand their interaction. Great importance will be placed on the meaning of the company's existence, its goals and the systemic concept of the company.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
1. understands the meaning of business from the perspective of the founder of the company,
2. compiles the founding project of the company,
3. understands the primary function of the enterprise;
4. understands the selected secondary functions of the enterprise,
5. understands the role of the company in the system of the national economy. - Syllabus

- 1. Enterprise, business, system concept of enterprise.
- 2. Founding project of the company.
- 3. Basic scheme of business processes.
- 4. Primary function of the company - human resources management.
- 5. Primary function of the company - investment activity.
- 6. Primary functions of the company - purchasing and inventory management.
- 7. Primary function of the company - production.
- 8. Primary function of the company - business activity.
- 9. Secondary functions of the company - marketing.
- 10. Secondary functions of the company - development and research.
- 11. Secondary functions of the company - accounting and administration.
- 12. Secondary functions of the company - controlling.
- 13. Current trends in business economics.

- The seminar will be conceived as the creation of the company's founding project:
- 1. Description of the business plan.
- 2. Product portfolio (current and future product offer).
- 3. Business plan.
- 4. Financial plan.
- 5. Production plan.
- 6. Human resources plan.
- 7. Fixed assets plan, investment plan.
- 8. Purchasing and inventory management.
- 9. Marketing plan.
- 10. Controlling system.
