Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The business plan is an integral part of every company that wants to stay on the market for a long time and is interested in ensuring long-term success. Through a business plan, it is possible to create a product concept of a product / service that has an impact on the existing market or can fill a gap in the market for a selected product / service. The purpose of creating a business plan is to formulate as accurately as possible a competitive advantage with regard to the quality, availability and variability of extended / additional services. The aim of the course Case Study - Business Plan is to develop a business plan in the form of a case study implemented for a specific company / organization.
Learning outcomes
1. independently proposes the goal and process of quantitative or qualitative research to support managerial decision-making 2. characterizes more advanced methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis of economic data 3. independently seeks, classifies, analyzes and critically interprets economic data and information from different perspectives (sources) including theoretical-methodological, ideological, value or other sources 4. Creatively address the theoretical or practical economic problem in interdisciplinary contexts 5. Apply more advanced scientific procedures and instrumentaria in solving practical and theoretical economic problems in order to obtain new original information 6. communicate, argue and negotiate effectively

  • Seminars 1. Concept of the project, selection of a professional topic. 2. Analysis of data and information collection. 3. Work with professional scientific literature. 4. Determination and formulation of goals, working hypotheses, research questions of solving a partial problem. 5. Solution methods - applicability in the field / branch / sector and applicability in practice. 6. Project structure. Modification of the project - proofreading of pages, division of professional texts, tables, pictures, graphs and other appendices. 7. Bibliographic citations - links to citations and lists of sources. 8. Project evaluation, project defense. 9. Project presentation at a seminar. 10. Presentation of the theoretical and methodological part of the seminar. 11. Presentation of the theoretical and methodological part of the seminar. 12. Presentation of the first version of the application part at the seminar. 13. Presentation of the first version of the application part at the seminar.

Exam conditions
In order to successfully complete the course, it is necessary to achieve a total of at least 70% of the ongoing and final evaluation under the conditions set out below. In the continuous evaluation, 30 points can be obtained, ie 30%. In the final evaluation, a total of 70 points can be obtained, ie 70%. Overall classification of the course, ie points for the final evaluation (70 - 0) + points from the continuous evaluation (30 - 0): A 100 - 90, B 89,99 - 84, C 83,99 - 77, D 76,99 - 73, E 72.99 - 70, FX 69.99 - 30, F 29.99 - 0. The student of the full-time form of study is obliged to fulfill the obligatory 70% attendance at contact teaching, ie everything except lectures. If the participation is not met, the student will be automatically classified "F".
