Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The target of the course is an integration of the input level of students' language skills minimally at A2+ to B1- level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Langugages and a providing students with language knowledge and skills at least to level A2 + to B1- for daily communication to handle common tasks that are of immediate relevance (e.g. basic information about yourself and your family, about shopping, local names, employment).
Learning outcomes
After the successful completion of the course, the students will be able to: - understand a very simple text containing information about people's everyday life, - understand the main information to be given in short simple and clear reports and communications, - agree with others about what they will do, about the meeting and activities, - briefly describe aspects of everyday life, - write a short and simple email.

Exam conditions
Full-time form of study

Grading of the course: Final Test 70% (0 – 70 points) and continuous evaluation 30% (0-30). The final test requires A2 to B1- level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points (from both parts together).

Part-time form of study

Final Test 100 % (0 – 100 points). Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points.

Classes will be realized via MS Teams in real time according to the relevant timetable.

Participation in all forms of education is solved by a separate internal norm of VŠTE (Evidence of attendance of students at VŠTE). 70% attendance at seminars and tutorials is obligatory for full-time students.
