The students are supposed to have knowledge of Building physics 1 and Technical services systems.

Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to present the actual informations concerning to low energy and energy passive buildings and to new progressive indoor technologies with emphasis to materials, building technologies, and building techniques. The essential part of the course is energy and environmental assessment of the designed building.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- identify and summarize important features of energy-efficient buildings;
- design conceptual solution for a low-energy and passive house;
- evaluate the thermal and technical properties of the proposed structures and the building as a whole.
