- Students will be theoretically familiarized with the solution of statically indeterminate structures methods of the force, deformation and MKP. Virtually try out the classic numerical solutions and calculations using a computer program. Upon successful completion, students will know the procedures for dealing with statically indeterminate structures by the force and deformation method including the effects of temperature and drop support. Graduates can explain the process FEM analysis. Virtually in a computer program can enter the beam, truss, frame, wall and slab construction, their supports and load. It is able to calculate the specified design and make analysis of the results.

- Lectures will be discussed the following topics: 1) the assumptions and limitations of calculating statically indeterminate structures 2) Virtual Work and deformation of beams 3-4) Force method of calculating statically indeterminate structure 5) girder 6) třímomentová Equation 7) the Cross method 8-9) strain method of calculating statically indeterminate structure 10 influence of subsoil and temperature changes on statically indeterminate structure (drop support, insolation) 11) finite element method 12 beam on elastic foundation 13 symmetrical design solutions
