Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The subject's objective is to prepare the students for the learning of the methods how to assess the actual conditions or defects of the examined perimetral constructions. Based on the assessment results and the condition assessment it is intended to design the rehabilitation and insulation technologies for the reconstruction and revaluation.
Syllabus
  • Introduction to the subject, the concepts of fault, and defect. Defects, typical brick housing faults, ceramics, breeze blocks, reconstructions, and repairs. Reconstructed perimeter housings' defects and faults. The reconstruction of the perimeter brickwork defects of the basement areas. The replacement of the primeter filling of windows, walls, and doors. Requirements, and the technology of replacement. The defects and faults of the base constructions of the front insulation panels, concrete surface corrosion. The defects, faults, and repairs of the metal fronts. The defects, faults, and repairs of the glass walls, and the metal-plastic fronts. The repairs of the damaged, and infected wooden structure housings and the structures made of solid wood logs. The bindings of the object final shaping, the influences of the volume thermic technical changes on the formation of the perimetric housing defects. The defects, faults, and repairs of the front complementary constructions of balconies, terraces, and enclosed balconies. The maintenance cycle of perimtric constructions. The fault and defect prevention of the perimetric housings by chosing the construction and technology in relation to their weight. Defective construction examintion.
